Dedicated to women

I've stolen an idea from Chaos, who stole it from someone else. I know I don't have many friends here, and I'm not a popular Deviant, but I hope this catches on somehow and I hope I can help. Quote:

As such, I am dedicating this next month (or month and a week, since I'm starting today) to women. This includes all labels that they have been placed under. (girl, lady, woman, mother, wife... etc.)

What I'm trying to do is to encourage anyone who reads these silly little journals of mine to, for one month, draw/upload only women. But only NOT depicting them in a sexist or offensive way at all. You know what I am talking about. It is everywhere on the front page of dA, and I would like that not to be there.

Also, since I am not the most popular person on this site, I would like to have your help. I want everyone who reads this journal to write their OWN journal about this. Saying that you will dedicate this entire month to women, and giving them true respect. The respect that, I feel, they truly deserve.

So as a summary. Dedicate this month to only drawing women (with respect), and spread the word about it through dA.


I hope this will actually spread throughout the entire site. Then maybe we could have beautiful pictures of women covering the entire front page.

I would also like to give a special dedication, to a good friend of mine. She knows who she is, and I want her to know that I love her."

Anywho, this idea is a good one. Girls need more respect. And plus I could use the opportunity to practice my drawing techniques concerning females. Yes, at last the reason why there is a conspicuous lack of girls in my gallery is revealed: I simply can't draw them. But I'm going to work on it. I really am. Starting with that picture of Lumina I owe ~Khieki. "

I haven't uploaded much lately, via crappiness of scanner and just crappy drawing in general. But if I manage to get anything up this month, I'm going to draw girls. I also need to practice their proper anatomy and everything, so it all works. I hope this makes a difference somehow. Promise I'll get at least one girl drawing out there this month.

And of course, cheers to the female watchers I have, one of which I care about especially <3 Let's hope my drawing proves to be decent for this.
